Choosing a baby winter jacket comes down to three things: warmth, comfort against the skin, and how quickly you can get it on before the mood turns. Our baby fleece hooded jacket is built for all three, with a hood for windy days and a stretchy lining that moves with an active child.
Fabric that works hard
The outer shell blends 52.9% polyester with 47.1% cotton for warmth that still breathes, and the lining is 93.6% polyester with 6.4% spandex, so it stretches instead of restricting. That stretch is the detail parents notice most, because sleeves go on without a fight.
Sizes and colours
- Ages: 0 to 3 years, suitable for boys and girls.
- Sizes: 73 cm to 110 cm, with dress length, sleeve length and bust measured per size.
- Colours: yellow, red, pink and blue.
Sizing tip: Asian sizes run smaller than European and American sizes, so if your child is between sizes, go up. A slightly roomy winter coat also leaves space for a jumper underneath, which extends how long it fits.
How to layer a baby for cold weather
Start with a soft cotton base layer, add a light jumper, then the fleece jacket on top. Three thin layers trap more warmth than one thick coat and let you remove a layer indoors so your baby does not overheat. Check the back of the neck rather than the hands to judge temperature.
