Never lose your last pick again
Every guitarist knows the ritual: turn out the gig bag, check the sofa, give up and play with a coin. A guitar pick punch ends that cycle. Feed in any flat sheet of plastic and press, and you have a fresh pick in seconds, cut to the standard shape.
Turn junk into picks
Old loyalty cards, expired bank cards, yoghurt lids, plastic folders and packaging all become picks. Different plastics give different tones and stiffness, so making your own is also a cheap way to find out what gauge and material actually suits your playing rather than guessing in a shop.
Built to last
- Durable iron construction that keeps a clean cutting edge.
- Compact 170 x 90 x 35 mm size, comfortable to hold and easy to store.
- Four finishes: black silver, gold, silver and black.
- Simple operation, no setup and nothing to replace.
How to make your own guitar picks
- Choose a flat plastic sheet roughly the thickness of a credit card.
- Slide it into the punch and line up where you want the pick cut.
- Press down firmly and evenly.
- Run a fingernail or fine sandpaper over the edge to smooth it.
Thicker plastic gives a stiffer pick with a brighter attack; thinner plastic flexes for strumming. Try a few and keep the ones that feel right.
A great gift for musicians
It is one of the few guitar accessories that a player almost certainly does not already own, and it is a genuinely fun thing to hand over. Custom picks cut from a band's old flyer also make memorable merch.
